EXPERIENCE

Hebrides Heights has extensive experience of rope access work all over the world as well as closer to home.  Previous contracts have included the following:-

 

St Kilda Opera, Mangursta Cliffs, Uig, Isle of Lewis

The St Kilda Opera is a European Opera based on the life and evacuation of the St Kildans involving the French aerial dance company, Compagnie Retouramont.  Hebrides Heights was contracted by the Gaelic Arts Agency during the summer of 2005 to provide rope safety for the filming of the dancers at Mangursta Cliffs in Uig on the Isle of Lewis.

Stornoway Castle, Isle of Lewis

Hebrides Heights has been contracted by the Western Isles Council for various jobs undertaken on Stornoway Castle.  These include the bracing of chimneys and window bays and inspection of the Castle Tower in December 2006, reinstatement of the Castle flagpole in July 2007, and an inspection, demolition and reinstatement of the Castle Tower floors which was carried out during 2007 and 2008.

Culzain Castle, Ayrshire

In 2009, Mac TV contracted Hebrides Heights to provide rope safety work and undertake an excavation of an archaelogical site on the cliffs below the Castle.
